Selamat Hari Raya to all my friends and family. Less than 2 weeks left then the celebration begins. I just realized that I can count the number of times I've celebrated Hari Raya in Malaysia on one hand. Not a lot but they were fond memories. Mom's awesome cooking, the family all dressed up, the duit raya in little red envelopes...hmmmm....the smell of delicious cakes baking in the oven, the neighborhood kids stopping by to "beraya" all dressed in their best and behaving like young men and women.....those were the days!
